What we use and why

• If you contact us, we use your name, email and message to respond and handle the request.
• If you create an account or submit a rental, business or profile claim, we process account information and your submitted details, photos and information needed to review and manage the submission.
• If you register an estate agency, we process its name, registration number, website, contact email and optional logo to review representation and show the approved agency on its listings. A listing may also link to that property's page on the agency website.
• We process technical data needed to operate and secure the site. Optional visit and click analytics uses a browser identifier only if you explicitly allow it.
• Where automatic listing translation is used, the title and description may be sent to OpenAI to prepare a draft. Separate address, contact and photo fields are not intentionally sent. Do not include sensitive or private details in free-text descriptions.
• If you provide a public business address, we send the address and town to Photon (komoot) to locate its map marker using OpenStreetMap data. Do not enter a private address you do not want published.

We use account and submission data to provide the requested features; messages to answer your enquiry; and security and review data to protect the site and handle disputes. Optional analytics is based on your consent.

Analytics and your choice

If you allow analytics, we store an identifier in your browser and record visits and clicks. The owner of a listing or an approved business representative can see its click totals. Click records older than 90 days are excluded from reports and removed when the next click is recorded. If you reject analytics, optional analytics stays off. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie management” control at the bottom-right of the page; withdrawal removes the identifier from this browser. It does not automatically delete records already collected — contact us about a data request.

Providers and retention

We use Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Clerk for account sign-in, and OpenAI for any translation drafts. Data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area; you can ask us for details about providers and safeguards. We retain data for as long as needed for the relevant purpose, handling disputes and legal obligations. You can ask us for more specific retention information for a particular data category.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your data where applicable, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time.
